Worship Videos Produced for Faith United Church

When the COVID 19 pandemic meant that we could not worship in-person, our small-and-mighty worship staff chose to produce worship videos. I really enjoyed learning video production. And while this format was imperfect, it did allow for us to invite guest liturgists and guest preachers from all over the country, and enabled folks from all over the world to join us in worship!

Please note that Faith United Church (Springfield, MA) held their final worship service on May 23, 2021. All website and social media links beyond YouTube and all contact information for Faith United Church are now defunct.

UCC StillSpeaking Writers’ Group Daily Devotionals

Since late 2021, I have had the honor of being a regular contributor to the United Church of Christ’s StillSpeaking Writers’ Group. This collection of writers creates content for the emailed Daily Devotionals, as well as pieces for seasonal devotional booklets for Advent, Lent, and other occasions. Just For Fun

The necessity of moving our worship services online called for creativity, and kindled some outright silliness. I decided to make good use of my LEGO collection, and created a few LEGO scripture stories. I also made these available for other churches to use in their worship. Sadly, I was passed over for an animated short film Academy Award, yet the joy of producing these videos was reward enough.
